Dave Rader Certified Public Accountant
Dave began his career in 1980 at a small CPA firm in Tulsa, OK after completing his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Dave’s public accounting experience focused on clients in the oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, trucking, and real estate management industries. Specializing in audit and tax, Dave was able to run most engagements from the planning phase through to completion of financial statements and tax returns.
After 15 years in public accounting, Dave moved to Fayetteville to accept a position with Southwestern Energy. Responsible for an accounting department of 30, Dave managed a wide variety of financial analysis and reporting projects, system implementations and worked with independent, internal and regulatory auditors to complete periodic financial audit and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control reviews, and operational and regulatory audits.
Dave has been a CPA since 1983 and is licensed to practice in Arkansas and Oklahoma. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Little known fact – Dave served as Treasurer of the Fayetteville Band Boosters for 10 years, helping the high school band attend the Hollywood Christmas Parade, Fiesta Bowl, Rose Bowl and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
