Coleman was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in April of 2008 after completing his Juris Doctorate at the University of Arkansas. Coleman’s practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, business planning, business litigation, civil litigation, agriculture law, elder law, guardianships, DWI, and family law. Coleman brings a wide variety of experience to the firm with his bachelor’s degree in
accounting and LL.M. course study in taxation. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association; Arkansas Bar Association Young Lawyers; Wealth Counsel; American Bar Association; Washington County Bar Association; Ducks Unlimited; and Delta Waterfowl.
Working with Brenda in her law practice now for over seven years, Coleman has been involved with almost every aspect of our practice, including word processing, database management, legal research & writing, and client consultations. With his deep knowledge of the way things work at our firm, Coleman is able to handle every situation in a way that is wise beyond his years.
Little known fact: Coleman and some other young professionals started a hunting club in the Delta this year.
Client Services Manager— Georjean M. Terry
Georjean is client services manager for the law offices of Brenda Vassaur Taylor, JD, LLM (Taxation). She assists our clients through the initial phases of the estate or business planning process and after the documents are signed. Georjean is responsible for re-titling assets into their trusts or business entities. This funding process is crucial to ensuring that our clients’ planning objectives are fulfilled. Georjean coordinates our tea
m approach to all our legal work and estate planning and is available to ensure that each client has a positive and successful experience.
Georjean has had many years of experience in the legal profession; however, prior to entering our industry, she had obtained her undergraduate degree from John Brown University with a degree in broadcasting. She has worked in radio broadcasting and special events planning. While honing her professional skills, Georjean has also served her husband of 28 years and their three children during periods of full-time homemaking.
Little known fact: Georjean teaches a weekly Bible study to children nine months of the year.
Legal Assistant— Isabelle Taylor
While working full-time in the summers and holidays and part-time during the school year, Isabelle is also a full-time student at the University of Arkansas. She is currently a third year English major with plans
to attend law school.
As a legal assistant, she has extensive work experience in word processing, document building, and trust/entity funding. Isabelle is also an integral part of our team during our trust signings. She now has three years experience with our firm.
Little known fact: Isabelle enjoyed a trip to Italy this summer, bringing to a physical reality her study in Art History from the previous school term. Isabelle will be leaving our office during the Summer of 2008 to study abroad in Europe.
